Roser Studios LLC was founded in August 2024 to turn a long‑standing dream into reality. The idea dates back to 2010, when our founder began conceptualizing a game that could simulate a complete trading universe. Years later, a rough prototype called Nebula Rising proved that the engine could work. Instead of stopping at one game, we set out to build a reusable engine capable of producing multiple trading games across different themes.
Our mission is to revolutionize the gaming industry through innovative technology and captivating gameplay. We empower players to immerse themselves in dynamic worlds, connect with others and unleash their creativity. With a scalable simulation engine, we can rebrand the experience for sci‑fi galaxies, urban cityscapes, medieval markets and more. By building a suite of games on a shared engine, we create a sustainable ecosystem where each new title compounds revenue while costs remain linear.
Samuel Roser has always been captivated by immersive worlds. When he’s not coding engines and prototypes, Sam is backpacking through new countries, exploring different cultures and landscapes. These journeys inspire him to design virtual universes that feel alive and expansive.
A lifelong gamer, Sam gravitates toward titles that capture the mind and require critical thinking. His favourite single‑player games include the Elder Scrolls series and Starfield; he also loves economic simulations like Railroad Tycoon, Gazillionaire and EVE Online. Classic strategy games such as Heroes of Might and Magic, Age of Empires and Command & Conquer taught him the art of balancing resources and outsmarting opponents. For cooperative fun, he enjoys Rocket League and Call of Duty with friends. Sam draws from all of these experiences to inform our engine and games.
His vision for Roser Studios is to combine the exploration he loves, the strategic depth of economic and strategy games, and the camaraderie of co‑op play. By building a flexible simulation engine and a suite of games, Sam hopes to invite players into worlds where thoughtful choices and collaboration drive success—whether you’re trading commodities across galaxies or managing a medieval market.
